A heavy-gauge framing staple with a wide crown. This staple is widely used where material must be fastened firmly without being damaged, for example for fastening corrugated cardboard to wood, insulation materials, soft shingles and other types of roofing.

WS type staples are also used for fastening soft materials (polystyrene foam, hardboard, etc.) and for joining battens and plywood in timber structures. This kind of staple is used to clad crate frames with thin plywood.

The staples are galvanized, which ensures a long service life, and are coated with an optimal layer of glue, which prevents tool breakdowns. Special steel is used to make the staples.
