Due to the low power consumption of LED systems, some modern vehicles (e.g., VAG Group, Mercedes, Stellantis Group) equipped with CANBUS multiplexed systems may not correctly detect the operation of the light bar. This is because LED units consume significantly less power than conventional halogen bulbs.

In such cases, the solution is to install a dedicated CANBUS-compatible resistor to simulate the required load, or alternatively, to use a trailer control unit compatible with LED systems.

In most cases, the LED light bar operates correctly; however, it is the vehicle that fails to recognize its proper function.
