This felling axe is made from hardened and tempered high carbon steel in the classic 'yankee' pattern. The head is painted and the cutting edge is polished for better corrosion protection. The shaft is crafted from straight-grained natural hickory, sanded, and lacquered. It comes with a blade guard.
