The tool has a brushless motor that provides increased power, longer run time and better durability compared to traditional motors with carbon brushes. Safety features include an electronic brake that quickly stops the disc when the switch is released, a kick-back brake that is activated when the tool is jammed, and an E-Clutch system that automatically shuts off the motor when pinched or stopped.
