The DEWALT DT30601 flap disc is designed for cleaning welds, removing rust, and finishing surfaces of ferrous and non-ferrous metals when working with angle grinders. It is fitted with wear-resistant zirconia oxide grain that provides up to 3 times higher material removal rate compared to conventional resin fibre-backed discs. The design contains no iron, sulphur, or chlorine, ensuring clean processing without risk of corrosion or surface contamination. The flat disc shape and 0–15° working angle allow both rough material removal and finish grinding in a single pass.
