The DEWALT DT3255 flap disc is designed for intensive cleaning of welds, removal of rust and paint, and rough grinding of ferrous and non-ferrous metal surfaces when working with angle grinders. It is fitted with wear-resistant zirconia oxide grain that provides up to 3 times higher material removal rate compared to conventional fibre discs. The Type 29 design provides an optimal grinding angle for aggressive yet controlled material removal. The disc contains no iron, sulphur, or chlorine, ensuring clean processing without risk of corrosion or surface contamination. The flap construction allows grinding and finishing in a single pass, eliminating the need to change accessories.
