The DEWALT DT3293 flap disc is designed for rough cleaning of welds, removal of rust, old coatings, and intensive grinding of metal surfaces when working with angle grinders. It is fitted with wear-resistant zirconia oxide abrasive grain, providing up to 3 times higher material removal rate compared to conventional fibre discs. The Type 27 design provides an optimal 0–15° grinding angle for aggressive yet controlled processing. The disc contains no iron, sulphur, or chlorine, ensuring clean processing without risk of corrosion or surface contamination.
