The Extreme 2 DeWALT DT5552 130212 drill bit is used for drilling through-holes and blind holes with drills. It has high strength (50% stronger than a standard HSS-R bit). It drills faster and more precisely than other bits, since drilling begins as soon as it contacts the material surface, and the wedge-shaped core structure gives it high resistance to breakage. It is fitted with a centering point, so no pre-punching is required. A special coating protects the bit from overheating and extends its service life. Recessed cutting edges produce a clean hole without burrs. Three flat faces on the shank prevent it from spinning in the chuck. The bit's size is marked above the shank, so it does not wear off during use.
