The DWP849X polisher is a professional-use power tool. Its application is polishing operations. This model can work with polishing pads of various diameters (150, 180 mm recommended, 230 mm maximum allowed). To prevent scratches on the surface being treated, the gearbox housing has a rubberized surface. Thanks to the spindle lock and hook-and-loop mounting, the working accessory can be changed quickly and easily. Replaceable mesh screens on the vent openings keep dust and hair out of the motor. A large dial makes it easy to change the maximum rotation speed. Electronic protection against accidental start-up is provided for extra operator safety (after a power interruption, the start button must be released and pressed again to restart the tool). Self-cutting-out carbon brushes protect the motor from damage as they wear.
