Product description
The NEO TOOLS keyed drill chuck with a ½" x 20 mm internal thread is a precise mechanism for clamping accessories with cylindrical shanks from 1.5 to 13.0 mm. The keyed design ensures high, repeatable jaw clamping force, minimising slippage and "kickback" when drilling larger diameters and harder materials. A key is included for even tightening. The NEO TOOLS chuck is suitable for bench and hand drills with a matching spindle, in production, assembly and service applications requiring a stable grip on drill bits, countersinks, reamers or accessory shanks.
Application
Holding drill bits with a cylindrical shank of 1.5–13.0 mm in drills with a ½” x 20 mm spindle thread.
Stable drilling with larger diameters and in harder materials (steel, cast iron, engineering plastics).
Working with countersinks, reamers, shank cutters and accessory shanks in the range of 1.5–13 mm.
Use in bench and hand drills when high, repeatable jaw clamping force is needed.
Assembly/service/production: quick, repeatable changeovers between tools of different diameters.
Working with hole saws/arbors that require a cylindrical shank and firm clamping.
