GRAPHITE HSS-Co metal drills are durable, strong instruments for drilling in a variety of metal materials, made in accordance with the DIN 338 standard.

The drills are made of a high-grade M35 high-speed steel alloy with a five-percent cobalt addition. The use of such material increases durability thanks to increased abrasion resistance and allows higher cutting speeds to be used with a lower feed at the same time. M35 cobalt steel is also characterised by a lower tempering temperature, which allows them to be used at high temperatures, e.g. drilling in difficult-to-machine materials such as stainless, acid-resistant and heat-resistant steel.

GRAPHITE drill bits feature a 135° point angle and a split point (web thinning), which allows easy drilling of holes in metal without centre punching.
