In this case rotation stops within a fraction of a second, preventing injury. Thanks to the SDS system, chain tensioning and bar installation are done without using screwdrivers, wrenches, or other tools. Simply release the guard and fit the attachment. A rotary adjuster on the housing lets you loosen or tighten the clamp. This makes preparation quick and simple. The Bosch UniversalChain 18's protective bar tip prevents chain damage on impact with an obstacle and ensures a clean cut without damaging branches. The unit weighs 3 kg complete with all accessories, making it easy to handle in hard-to-reach places. Rubberized inserts on the handle provide comfortable, secure grip. Included is a 2000 mAh battery, whose capacity is enough for 40 cuts of 75 mm each. Thanks to the fast charger, the battery can be recharged in 40 minutes.
