Bosch GKE 18V-40 cordless chainsaw
Advanced brushless motor ("BITURBO Brushless"): high performance, minimal noise and no emissions.
Bar/saw chain: 40 cm length (≈ mid-size, for serious log-cutting and thick-branch tasks).
Chain speed: ~12.4 m/s.
Chain pitch 3/8″ (≈9.52 mm) with a link thickness (gauge) of ~1.1 mm.
Compatibility: Bosch Professional 18V system and the AMPShare alliance.
Included ("solo" version): saw, chain cover, tool kit; battery and charger are purchased separately.
An excellent choice for cutting: short and long logs, thick branches, wood and outdoor work — thanks to the 40 cm bar and power.
Brushless motor + OptiCut system: automatically adapts speed/torque under load — reduces the chance of the machine stalling.
Cordless model: no cable — good mobility on-site or in the garden.
Easy maintenance: transparent chain oil tank, integrated tool kit.
A battery with a capacity of at least 5.5 Ah is recommended for uninterrupted, full-scale work.
Keep in mind that a 40 cm bar is a substantial size: you need room to work safely and enough clearance around the object being cut.
Suitable for professional use (construction, demolition, landscaping) and for serious amateur tasks where mobility and power are needed.
