The Bosch GSB 18V-50 screwdriver runs on an 18V lithium-ion battery. Two GBA 18V 2 Ah batteries and a GAL 18V-20 charger are included.
Thanks to the Flexible Power System, all Bosch batteries and chargers of the same voltage can be used.
The battery has a two-stage locking mechanism and inserts securely into the tool. A charge indicator helps monitor the battery level and replace it in time.
A powerful, intelligent Brushless motor delivers excellent performance and durability to the screwdriver. Thanks to smooth, friction-free rotation and high energy efficiency, the brushless motor is more powerful and lasts longer than a conventional one. Controlled by electronic sensors, the brushless motor distributes power evenly throughout the system, ensuring more efficient use of battery energy without losses. In addition, running without carbon brushes eliminates friction noise. The tool produces no sparks and no unpleasant smell.
The direction of rotation is changed using a dedicated switch.
Three modes are available: drilling, hammer drilling, and driving/removing.
Optimized torque and drilling speed thanks to a two-speed planetary gearbox — 0-460 rpm in 1st gear and 0-1800 rpm in 2nd gear.
The speed on each gear is smoothly adjusted by pressing the trigger harder or softer.
